Why You Should become a volunteer at FCF
At Flourishing communities foundation, we believe that dynamic memberships are critical to solving complex challenges countrywide. Flourishing communities Foundation is a vibrant and exciting place to work. There are always many tasks to do in different sectors, in the garden, administration, health, music and many others. There is always room for volunteers to join us and help out. You bring nothing but your energy and time and you make a difference in someone’s life. Volunteers at Flourishing communities Foundation are given extensive training.
Involvement ranges from 7 days to 6 month or any intermediate time commitment.
The basic requirement is an interest and desire to support vulnerable communities, children, and families that are the center of all services we provide. You will not experience working with us but also have an exciting time experiencing the treasure of being in Uganda, the pearl of Africa.
Due to our emphasis on our mission, our volunteers are required to get involved as much as they can.
This includes participating in all our activities to restore hope among local vulnerable communities that have been greatly affected by hunger, malnutrition, disease and poverty.
What we offer to volunteers
We struggle to help as many children as we can to have a chance to education by offering them sponsorship opportunities.
“F.C.F.” offers an invitation to the volunteer who shows and has all the requirements of the volunteer. This invitation is presented at the embassy to offer you a visa to stay in Uganda for the suggested period of volunteering.
“F.C.F.” offers advice and support program to departure, we give flight options, what to pack, local accommodation options and arranging airport transfers if required. All volunteer expenses are tagged on the volunteer.
An induction to “F.C.F.” our mission, aim and objectives what to expect during your time with us.
In county orientation and information about the local life and of operation, culture and beliefs of the communities and how best we can serve them. We also suggest the best accommodation for the volunteer on his or her bill.
You will receive an appreciation certificate of completion of your time volunteering with us.
“F.C.F.” is a registered licensed organization and the certificate you will receive is verified and valid.
It can be presented anywhere in any country for a job or any other vacancy and opportunities.
“F.C.F.” works with a profession and committed staff. However there is a great need for volunteers to help in the operation due to the increasing need for the organization services in the communities of its impact.
“F.C.F.” does not charge for the support and services it offers to its volunteer because they work to ensure the fulfillment of the organization, objectives.
The volunteer is only required to cover costs associated with volunteering just as if you were volunteering somewhere else in your country.
Typical costs include; Airport transfers, Accommodation, Meals, Transport and medications. Any other personal interests like entertainment, travel, are also on the volunteer’s cost.
